Harmonic Tremor was commissioned by Irving Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Hector Guzman. The commission was granted as part of the Southern Methodist University and Irving Symphony Composer-in-Residence Program. Harmonic Tremor is written for full orchestra and is defined as a series of rhythmic earthquakes that often occur before a volcanic eruption.
